I’m feeling locked and loaded. It’s not me though. It’s God. I know this because I’ve tried to get “locked and loaded” before, but I could never do enough. I’m locked and loaded and ready to do incredible things for God, and not just because he has blessed me in an overwhelming way. It’s the spiritual/emotional high of being a part of something bigger than me…bigger than this life. So, I’m drinking it in and enjoying life while I’m still here.

Most of us think the best place to find God is a church…that’s partially right. But what would happen if we went everywhere with the expectation that we would see God? Would that change the way we live? It changes me…that’s all I know.

First, I have to give credit to Danny Smith for the innovative way of displaying my entry title. I am so in love with lower case! And now…
Have you ever been just crusin’ through life and then jolted to a stop? I don’t mean cruisin’ as in an apathetic, non-productive way. I mean getting things done, accomplishing goals, making a difference, living on purpose cruisin’…then something throws you off course. The cool thing is that we have a choice to make once it comes, because it will come – we can get caught up with the obstacle, or just keep cruisin’.

Finding your way in life is not always easy. I feel like I am getting closer. My ridiculously beautiful wife could not be a more perfect person with which to find my way through life. God seems to have been showing me His way more clearly although it is probably just me actually LOOKING for His way as of late. And the people God has placed in my life have provided a great path for God to use.

I don’t think I can say it much better than this…

How much longer can we wait around for something spectacular in our lives? Really, what are we waiting for? The time to do something extraordinary is now! The time make a difference is now…making a difference in this world starts with the people and circumstances we have now, not future people and circumstances. So what are we doing to do today before time is up?

We can’t stop thinking about the bad luck we are having and the great talent we possess during the good and bad times respectively. The ironic thing is the answer has nothing to do with us. It all fits in the Master Plan. This is an easy “out” during the bad but a tough pill to swallow, and the proper response to the good although difficult while in competition with our ego.

We are always trying to get somewhere in life. “Why can’t we just be. Why can’t we just live?”

If only I could communicate better…with my wife, my children…with God.
